We built an HTML interface to the popular MacPerl language using CSCGI:

Calling a Perl "droplet" starts the MacPerl program and runs a compiled
script. The script parses CSCGI data elements and makes them available via
Perl arrays:

Perl's high-level expression parsing syntax makes the CSCGI "glue" code
much simpler than the C++ equivalent:

MacPerl has a high-level graphical user interface, making it an
appealing alternative to languages such as Java:

Current MacPerl CSCGI work includes writing a perl script to extract stars from the ACT Ref
catalog (e.g.).
